The single off the upcoming record showcases the instrument Kit Wilmans Fegradoe brings to the group, the Swarsangum. It is an Indian hybrid instrument comprised of a Tanpura and Swarmandal. It's used traditionally to accompany vocalists. Kit, however, plays it in a more contemporary style.
Two gentle and serene improvisations evoke the stringed elegance and grace of the harp, sitar and koto. We hope it may just lead you to fall in love with your most restful self.
May it bring you what you need,
From all of us,
With Love.

'Expressions in Microworlds Swarsangum II' was recorded at 59 New Station Road, Bristol, April 2017. This piece was recorded on a Zoom R24 with two Audio Technica AT2050's.
'The Pillars of Paraiba' was recorded at 3a Leechwell, Totnes, June 2019, also to a Zoom R24. It was recorded with the addition of newly fitted on-board pre-amps for the Swarsangum, which help to bring out more of the microcosmic elements of the instrument.
A special thanks to Claudia Capocci for making the miniature Swarsangum scene and to Jethro Cooke for designing the artwork.
